This will depend on the program that is recommended and selected.
Part of your responsibility as a parent is that you need to constantly offer encouragement and positive motivation to your child. Fortunately, in most cases we have found that the more time a student spends on the program, the more they want to use it. They find themselves improving and answering questions, which is a self-perpetuating exercise. As the learner improves, so does his/her computational skills and efficiency; thus the amount of time required to cover the same amount of work proportionately decreases. So less time spent on the software is a sign of progress.
We have a Technical Support team available via phone five nights a week Monday to Friday, 4.00pm to 8.00pm.
Yes, the program is upgraded as the syllabus changes. These updates are provided through the CAMI Update Assistant.
It is imperative that reports are forwarded on a regular bases, as this enables our professional team of tutors/teachers to consolidate areas of weaknesses and guide the learner to appropriate exercises. The development of each child is a highly individual process and we can only guide them professionally once we are familiar with the unique characteristics of the learner, which is gleaned from both their reports and by speaking to them.
